Since 1980s, Japanese government employed foreign teachers to involve their froeign language teaching to improve their citizen's foreign laguage. They called this program JET Program and made a law that any foreign teacher should give the students class togetther with Japnese English teachers. Therefore, the students' English listening, speaking abilities improved quickly. Beyond gaining language abilities, they learnt a lot about foreign cultures. Nowadyas, more and more foreign teachers have come to China to teach here. What do you think of this program? Is it necessary for us to learn foreign language together with foreigners?
